Dandelion Flower Cookies

Dandelion Flower Cookies 
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup flour
1 cup dry oatmeal (I used quick oats)
1/2 cup dandelion flowers (no green or stems)
Pull dandelion flower petals out of the green base. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla, baking powder, flour, oatmeal and flower petals. Drop by spoonfuls onto an oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes. Remove from sheet and cool. Makes approximately 24 delicious cookies.
Note: harvest dandelions well away from a roadway, and in a spot where you are sure no chemicals sprays have been applied.
