Community-Supported Agriculture: Agriculture Supporting Community

The farm will once again offer a traditional Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription in 2016. CSA members will be able to pick up their food at the farm. We also may make deliveries to Westminster once a week and to Littlestown, PA. We encourage CSA members to visit the farm during the season.

The produce will vary with the season and the weather. We use biodynamic practices to grow tasty and nutritious vegetables without using chemicals, pesticides or insecticides. We are commited to providing plenty of “nutrient-dense” produce popping with flavor throughout the CSA season.  Our weekly shares typically include 6 - 9  items: cooking greens, salad greens, starches (squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes or beets), seasonal favorites (tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, beans or cabbage), herbs, and onions or garlic. Fruit is also occasionally offered.

This season we’re offering a 20-week subscription for $600.00 --approximately $30 worth of vegetables, herbs and fruit per week.  The season runs from the week of Sunday, June 13, 2015 through the week of Sunday, October 24, 2016. Several payment options are specified on the commitment form. We accept payment by cash ,check or charge. If you need to miss any week, please share your food with a friend or neighbor.

We can accommodate pick-ups at various times at the farm and will deliver once  a week to Littlestown and Westminster.
