In the Garden

At White Rose Farm, we grow a wide variety of herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruits in some two acres of garden. We plant in raised beds and use biodynamic practices to make our gardens vital, the food tasty and nutritious.

We have listed the plants that we plan to grow this season and when we expect those crops to be ready. As the weather gets more extreme, some crops will come in earlier; some later; some may fail with a sudden storm.  If you are interested in a particular crop, please call ahead to confirm that it is available. We also have listed the vegetables, but not all the varieties that we plan to grow.(We have 7 varieties of tomatoes plannted, and some 5 varieties of peppers. If you have a particular interest, again, please ask.)

There will always be a wide variety of food available in the garden. The farm is open to the general public during our season, from May through November, on Sunday evenings from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. We encourage people to pick their own vegetables fresh from the garden.
