Time to BE on the farm

Posted 7/4/2017 9:10am by Sally Voris .

Yes, the veggies are coming in and there is now plenty to pick--summer squash, beans, kale, cabbage, chard, onions, broccoli, carrots--potatoes to dig and cukes and tomatoes soon. There are also herbs---

as chaotic as the world is right now, a place to be grounded and balanced seems even more important than any one vegetable, flower or herb.

The farm is open to farm circle members Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings starting at 8:30, and Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings starting at 4:00 p.m. It is easy to become a member.

I am envisioning Gal's Day on Friday mornings--a chance for women to gather in the garden, talk and work and then enjoy a lunch and conversation. So far, it hasn't happened.... maybe this week it will.

My best to you all. May we all find ways to appreciate Nature's bounty,

Sally
