Posted 6/4/2017 3:22pm by Sally Voris .

Finally! Days of sunny, warm weather arrived! So did volunteers to help in the garden. We sprayed the biodynamic preparations as part of World Biodynamic Day. We also planted sweet potatoes, moved hogs, and made mulberry tonic. The farm is becoming a place to share unity with the soil and each other (Come Unity!), a vision bigger than simply producing food.

Saturday, June 10, starting at 5:00 p.m., Sally Voris will demonstrate how to make the farm's signature elderflower champagne. The program is open to farm circle members. (JOining is easy and inexpensive!) After the program, members are invited to enjoy a potluck and fire circle and watch fireflies rise from the fields. Cost for the program is $10. We ask you to bring two lemons, a gallon of spring water and a pot or a crock that will hold a gallon of liquid. Register here.

Saturday, June 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. we will host a Barn Dance sponsored by White Rose Farm Circle. Click here for a flyer. Click here to register. the farm will open at 4:00 for Circle members. We invite members to bring food for a potluck before the dance. Light refreshments will be available at the dance. Cost? $15/adult; $7/child; $30/family.

Friday, June 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. will be our next gathering of the Global Sisterhood. Renee Deiaco will lead the group. There is no charge, and we will accept donation for women refugees. Register here
