A New Year: A New Season!

Posted 1/1/2019 7:35pm by Sally Voris .

What do you raise on your farm? The question came from a colleague I had known in another chapter in my life. Dare I say out loud that I cultivate pregnant space--space where we can express ourselves and ask questions without knowing what the answers will be, where we can connect with nature and be transformed in the process, where we can create community events that bring us together. A place of forming, becoming, blossoming...

So it seems most appropriate that our first program of the new year will be:

GLOBAL SISTERHOOD GATHERING: Our next gathering will be on Saturday, January 5 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Retreat House, 4234 Ruggles Road, Taneytown.  Renee Deiaco will lead the program with the  theme: Her Revolution: I prioritize my soul's needs. The event is free and we collect donations to support women refugees.  RSVP.

We have planned this event for the afternoon so that our elderly friends who cannot drive at night can join us. Participants are welcome to stay for tea and conversation. (Please feel free to bring light refreshments to share.)

RETREAT HOUSE AVAILABLE: We are also making the Retreat House available for overnight stays for up to four women on both Friday night, January 4 and Saturday night, January 5 to give women a chance to steep themselves in the quiet of the country for a soul's retreat! Please call 410-756-9303 or e-mail sally@whiterosefarm.com for more information or to reserve your space!(The Retreat House is available at other times through airbnb.

May we find our and follow our heart's path! Happy New Year!

Quiet time is starting....

Hazel is back! She is pregnant and due midwinter. Our thanks to Leah Mack, at whose farm Hazel and Daisy spent the summer with a virile bull.  Now we want to find Daisy, a pure-bred Jersey, a new home. She is pregnant and due mid-spring. Interested? Please contact me. Thanks. Sally
