Summer comes to White Rose Farm!

Circle Dancing: Last week, Pam Kraemer led simple circle dances on the lawn at the farm. We walked barefoot on the lawn, enjoyed evening breezes and good company, watched fireflies rise in the fields, listened to a frog chorus from the wetlands on a nearly perfect summer evening. Thank you, Pam! Thank you too to Paul Thomas who lent us sound equipment.

Thank you to outgoing Board members Shelden Luz and Gwen Marable. Shelden served as our first President and offered her skill in holding a vision and attending to details. Gwen offered networking support and an abiding presence. Both were honored at our event.

Welcome to our new Board members, Renee Deiaco, Christine Pilson and Darlene Bromwell. All three women will provide local leadership to White Rose Farm Circle, as will on new President, Laurel Brennan. Continuing Board members are Karen Holway, Scott Freeland, Margaret Crowther and Richard Swerling.

Mark your calendars for A Taste Of Salsa, Saturday, August 4 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Michael Campbell will return. Last year, he taught salsa dancing and built community, which also featured salsa made at the farm. More details soon.

Our next Women's Circle will be held on Saturday, June 30, from 10:30 to 3:30 p.m. A core group of women gather eight times a year, at the changes of the seasons. We savor time and space to listen to each other and reflect on our lives as we share our journeys. We invite women from our larger network to join us. Some come once; others return. We ask for a donation of $25 for regular attendees; $15 for first-timers. For more information click here.  Register here.

Our next Global Sisterhood gathering will be on Thursday, July 12, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the farmhouse, 5009 Teeter Road. This month's theme is: Liberation through forgiveness: I forgive; I let go; I set myself free. For more information about the Global Sisterhood, click here. To register here

Still time to join the circle as members who are working together to restore health to the land, the natural world and each other. Join here.

May you savor the joys of summer!

Quiet time is starting....

Hazel is back! She is pregnant and due midwinter. Our thanks to Leah Mack, at whose farm Hazel and Daisy spent the summer with a virile bull.  Now we want to find Daisy, a pure-bred Jersey, a new home. She is pregnant and due mid-spring. Interested? Please contact me. Thanks. Sally
